Many designers are put off by using multiple shape and size tiles in a small space. The reason being that it can create a lot of lines and the appearance of too much movement. Here is an example of how we can separate the shapes and sizes through the use of different material and linear lines.
Starting at the top of the wall we have a 6×6 Asian Statuary tile laid on a diagonal.
Separation is created by use of a moon stone pencil liner. The liner is utilized to highlight the mini brick panel in the center of the wall. All this leading to the bottom half of the wall which is an Asian statuary 3×6 subway tile leading to our hexagon floor of the same material.
